It says on the page that it's not tested for Vista (and I'm getting the same error), so I guess it's a known issue.

However, I have Vista on three computers, and it works fine on all of them, so it may not be Vista at all.

Of course. It may also be exclusive to Vista, but not all users are experiencing it! What do I know, hehe. You aren't running 64-bit or so, are you?

Hello BC, You told me that you will release the source code for developing, so that I give you what I had modified. And where is your source code now? Chuanhsing

I'm running under Visita 32-bit Home Premium edition. So far it's only crashed on me a few times (for trying to view a couple NPCs/mobs in Wrath and for particle effects). Other than that, it seems to be ok. I also noticed some of the emotes are missing, it makes "chatting" scenes a little hard to do lol.
But all in all, I'm so relieved this came out, I had tried other buggy versions of Wrath Model Viewer and they all just crashed right away. This one will stay up as long as I stay away from certain things and it gets the job done.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

This. Shouldn't the code be released? Uh oh...not again. It would be nice if it were either publicly released or released for people that want to help. The infrequence of updates and massive crashing are still present and more work would be appreciated.

FIRST PROBLEM! Config isn't being made.
I'm getting this bug too. Is there any way to fix it? EDIt: Never mind, I found the fix. What is the fix, I have this problem and so far I see no fix.

After installing a recent .NET Framework update, I'm happy to say that it works on my Vista computer. At least starting it up, haven't tried further than that.

I can access the source code of this program if I wanted to, but I'd rather him link it or give us it easily without me having to break into the program. Also: Celestial, if your problem hasn't been fixed, you need Vista SP1 and the SP1 Update for Vista (Both, not just the update) as well as .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 if you don't have it.

Wow, that seems to have done it... I knew I had the SP1 stuff installed, but I did indeed have to install the .Net thing. Such a simple answer, after I'd spent hours on Google looking for a solution to the SidebySide error... I'd tried at least 5 other suggestions without sucess. Thanks, now I can go back to working on my Videos and guild site graphics.

Does WOWMV export animations too, or just the skeleton? When I export to ms3d, open milkshape and export to .x I can clearly see the joints, but I can't find the animations.

Joints only. No animation at all I don't think.

Ah, ok, thanks.
I just read in the changelog of WOWMV 0.6.0.3, in the todo section: - Add an "Animated Model Export"-Option (MS3D)
so I guess it'll become available some time then. MyWarcraftStudio supported this through the M2Import script for 3dsmax, but that's broken now due to patches.
Great work on this tool though, I greatly appreciate the effort and the opportunities that becomes available because of those efforts!
